Thankoffering Begins November 11
Generations of Lutheran women have gathered in Thankoffering
worship services since the early 1900’s. Thankofferings show gratitude for God’s
blessings and give us an important and tangible way to express that gratitude. It is a
tradition grounded in our celebration of community, of meeting together to joyfully give thanks for what God has given us. Thankofferings have always been, and still are, our
opportunity to say thank you to God in both significant and ordinary moments.
Your thankofferings support the total outreach of our church women to live out our mission—“mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.” Together we can do more than we could ever do apart.
Property Management Parsonage Work Day
Property Management Work Day at the Parsonage 6:30 pm, Monday, September 17. We would like to patch holes in the walls and scrape up glue from the hardwood floors—any help would be appreciated.
The Youth & Family and Stewardship boards are asking members of St. Peter to join us in the Denver Days Parade on August 18th. We are putting together a superhero-themed float and would love for all Jesus's sidekicks, young and old, to join us. We welcome anyone to come and wear a superhero costume if you have it. If you have some costumes we could borrow for that morning please let us know. If you are interested in walking (or riding) with us, contact Eve Pautsch at firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-939-5229.
