Sonshine Christian Preschool, located in the basement of St. Peter Lutheran Church (540 East Franklin Street), has been in operation since 1985. The preschool is a non-denominational, non-profit organization which is state licensed, complying with all the standards set forth by the Iowa State Department of Human Services.

The preschool provides a loving, quality christian preschool experience for 3, 4, and 5 year old children.

Three year old classes meet on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Four year old classes meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

The preschool is staffed with two teachers and the class sizes are limited to 15 students each.
