There will be a meeting on August 16th at 6:30pm in the church library regarding Sunday School. We need to talk about curriculum, SS schedule, and find someone (or a pair) that is interested in leading or co-leading the Sunday School program. I'd also like to talk about how to proceed with music. This person (or pair) would organize curriculum, find volunteers, send out communications, etc. If you have questions or are interested please plan on attending this meeting. As always, please remember that these programs are only available to our youth with the assistance of a variety of people. Thanks, Eve Pautsch, Education Board email@example.com
Lutheran Women of St. Peter will be selling pies and sweets at the August 13th “Concert in the Park” featuring Maddie Poppe of Clarksville who appeared on NBC’s “The Voice”. Proceeds will be shared with various organizations and charities at Christmas.
Donated pies and other sweets will help make this project a success. Please sign up on the office door, or call Roxane in the office at 984-5648 if you’ll be able to contribute. Thanks!

Collection of Recycled School Items: St. Peter Lutheran Church in Denver will be collecting unused and partially used school items during the last two days of school. These items will then be distributed to kids who are in need of school supplies. Please visit with your child(ren). If you would like them to share with others in a caring way, this would be a great opportunity to re-purpose old supplies. When children clean out their desks at the end of the year, each grade level will have a tote available for collecting these supplies.
Thank you for considering participation in this elementary school project. If you have any questions, please call the office at St. Peter at 984-5648.
The Mission Trip students are having a homemade pie

Families can share an Easter blessing with those who are in need throughout the world. It’s called
“Buck-a-Chick”!! Within a few months of birth, chicks begin laying eggs. Eggs make nutritious meals
for growing children, and the extra eggs generate income to grow a small business. Please look for the
donation basket outside the church office. Children are encouraged to color a chick sheet and get involved by learning how to show thankfulness by helping others. Returned coloring pages will be put on display!!
