Blessing of the Bibles
Kindergarten and 3rd Grade
Sunday, October 4th at 9:00am Worship “As you bring your children to receive the gift of baptism, you are entrusted with responsibilities ... to place in their hands the holy scriptures” (ELW, Holy Baptism, page 228).

One of the ways St. Peter supports parents in fulfilling this promise is to provide Bibles for our families.
We invite you to stop by the tables to write your name, a prayer, and/or highlight your favorite scripture verse in the Bibles. Then on Sunday the 4th they will be handed to the parents/sponsors for them to place the Holy Scriptures into the hands of their child.
